Spend a holiday at Gurschlhof (Gurschl Farm)

The Gurschlhof is an authentic alpine farm situated at the edge of Naturpark Texelgruppe. Its magnificent location on the sunny side of Schnalstal makes sure you will enjoy, in summer and winter, a breath-taking alpine panorama reaching into the Vinschgau and to Ultner Joch. It is situated at the end of a street leading to Gurschlhof. Therefore you can leave behind your everyday-life and e. g. come to rest by spending a night at our mountain pasture. An original South Tyrol farm also provides enough space for groups who would like to experience the Schnalstal mountains. Families with children will enjoy our apartment as it is a spacious and cosy accommodation.

We invite you to share our daily life at the farm. Being close to little calves and lambs and stroking them, feeding cows, helping haymaking in the alpine meadows will make your stay a unique experience. Both grown-ups and kids are invited to experience and explore Ötzi’s habitat at the Archeopark close by or pay a visit to him at Bozen’s Naturkundemuseum. Many sights such as Reinhold Messner’s Juval Castle at the lower end of Schnalstal, Schloss Trautmansdorff’s gardens in Meran or the Churburg in Schluderns provide an insight into South Tyrolean culture. Beautiful Meran invites for a stroll through its streets with its unique archways. In winter Schnalstal’s glacier ski area ensures an absolute guarantee of snow, and Ski School Schnals takes good care of the kids.
